Give or take, I’ve given myself eight months to my publishing goal. The Fray has reached double my estimated target audience, since the release of its preview on 10/2/24.
I do not have a set goal for an audience, just that I am incredibly excited for my book, the art and everything else in between.
I originally started the manuscript back in May of this year, and planned to take my time even then. I feel as if I am consuming something delectable each time I write, adding to my ever growing novel.
Currently, I am at over 75k words, half way through chapter 20. Most of my work ranges around 50k words per novel.
The next step is to edit until I can’t take it anymore. Four to five drafts is recommended. I have the time.
I do not have a set release date, at least a solid one. I am focusing more on writing and editing.
There will be art, more than usual. I have two other pieces I need to complete for the main protagonists, Nia and Miguel. I am also crafting together Nia’s birthday ensemble, pictures will follow.
Here is a lengthy preview of The Fray!
