I swipe down to look at notifications, as I keep my iPhone on Personal, so only my boyfriend’s messages come through.
I noticed a notification from TikTok, and from clicking it…I was staring at the unthinkable.
Out of 800 million users, I am ranked #21 in the following topics searched, especially content wise
- Black girl cosplay
- Alternative black girls
- Most likely to go viral
None of these are in my agenda, I just do what I do. Here’s what’s funny about that.
What’s the point of having celebrity pages with millions of views, if someone can be #21 with hundreds of followers? Make that make sense.
The other thing that makes me smile about this is people are looking for their tribe. I’m happy my content has made its way to the right people.
This is a massive accomplishment for me, as I’ve said, never saw this coming. Another note – everything I ever thought was correct.
There was a popular phenomenon occurring within the search criteria…an involuntary gap. Take what you will from 80% as the median in my favor, but it means there are few, which means accounts like my own get more traffic.
