With the moon at 88%, in Leo…you may feel the need to conquer…or take a nap. This is a passionate zodiac sign, as it is fire. 

Today is a good day for pep talks. For yourself, and your loved ones. Feelin’ yourself is a Leo’s motto. Glamorous, fine tuned, rich, heady. These are all great words to describe how you may feel today.

Take self care to another level by adding flair to this routine. Infuse your bubble baths with rose oil, use metallic gold eyeshadow, or wear that dress…

You know…the one that hugs your curves just right? And answer to no one. You need not explain yourself.

On the flip side, we are in the Mercury Retrograde shadow. Have you felt it? I keep dropping my phone! The best thing to do is cleanse your space THOROUGHLY. And place protection over your space, and for those who cannot (children, especially).

Practice what you’ll need to do when the true Retrograde hits. Practice patience, understanding, self love (pep talks) and above all, know that everything is a lesson.

The true Retrograde starts April 1st and ends April 25th. If you look at a problem a certain way, it will always be a problem. Retrogrades help us define areas in our lives that we really need work on. Lack of communication seems to be the running theme. Really, it isn’t sour or bad. Shedding light on something is never bad. It’s revealing.

If you and your partner suddenly begin to argue…there’s something both of you need to work on. You signed paperwork for a project and it flopped…you missed a detail. Your phone broke? Appreciate what’s around you. Instead of saying this time wreaks havoc on your life… understand that cause and effect exist without a retrograde happening. 

Cleansing your space with lavender and cherry incense, or sage can help balance your space. Double checking messages or asking for further explanation can help with understanding. 

I think Mercury goes retrograde to remind us that the simplest solution is often the best.

Today’s reading is interesting. I want someone to tell me when I pull the same three cards, I’d be surprised.

First, we have Crown Chakra. Coinciding with today’s moon, the Crown Chakra is associated with Leo. When you have a healthy Crown, your imagination is vivid. Problem solving is your strong suit. You are confident in your existence. And you understand all views of a situation.

Next, we have Delight. If this wasn’t pulled for a Leo, I don’t know much then. Leos delight in their confidence, which makes them appear cocky. I would rather trust someone who trusts themselves…rather than the doubtful mumblings of someone who believe it may work. (Or not…)

Lastly, we have Authority. Leos are royalty. They act like they are royalty. With this confidence comes loyalty, deep love, and a deeper willingness to serve and protect. Authority is help…not control. So when a man is being authoritative over his family, he is properly providing. This is someone you can go to…for anything. If he is a (healed) Leo, has Leo in his moon or rising…it’s even sweeter than I can describe to you. He breathes loyalty. He breathes extraordinary. It is seen in his character, and could make a woman quiver and weep with exaltation. Sounds a bit much?
